The Loyal Ant are:

Paul Antipov - the man who knows it

We are the band dwelling in Minsk and its outskirts. Having gathered just half a year ago we are still in some doubt as to exactly what music we want to play or even what our label should be. At present we are temporarily called "Loyalny Muravey" which can be translated as "The Loyal Ant" (don`t bother to ask me what it means :)

The fact that all of us love different kinds of music makes it all even more complicated: Andrew is fond of funk and jazz; Boris prefers melancholic music with Radiohead and Depeche Mode as his favourits; Alex`s point is guitar technique, that`s why he has recently spent hours copying Joe Satriani`s solos; Michael`s first flame was death metal and the like, later he fell in love with reggae and all where the bassist gets a kick out of it; and Eugene`s enthusiasms include most of the above mentioned. As a result arranging a song we are sometimes ready to kill each other, the good point is usually all of us have something to say as to what this very song should sound like.

At present we are playing several times a week in a garage that we share with two other bands.
